Help! Berlusconi gevaar voor de democratie

Vinnie, van de Grillini in Nederland, stuurde ons onderstaande update over de flash mob tegen het "Berlusconisme in Europa" op zaterdag 2 oktober op de Dam in Amsterdam.

“Berlusconism spreads to Europe”

The message of this flash mob is that Berlusconi’s political style - the "Berlusconism" - is slowly spreading all over Europe. Sarkozy has recently made a law which allows deportation of EU citizens (the Roma communities); Wilders’ party is going to be part of the next Dutch Government; extreme-right parties are getting unprecedented consensus in most European countries elections; most Europe is heavily contaminated with Italian criminal associations such as Mafia (originally from Sicily), Camorra (from Naples) and ‘Ndrangheta (from Calabria).

We have therefore organized a flash mob which will take place Saturday 2nd of October 2010 in De Dam square at 15:00 sharp.

You are warmly invited to join us and help us making this message through the Dutch mainstream national media and the blogosphere and trigger a sense of interest and awareness in all our fellow citizens.

Please follow the instructions below:

1) Download and print on an A4 paper the picture found at this link
2) Be in De Dam at least at 14:50 and look for the Flash Mob Leader (FML). He will be standing on the highest steps at the base of the Nationaal Monument on the side facing the Royal Palace. Do not seek contact with him, just keep in mind where he is and stand-by.
3) Exactly TWO minutes before the flash mob (14:58), the leader will wear a bright orange garment on top of his jacket and will remain steady. Keep cool, get ready to pull out your picture.
4) When the FML will raise his arms (it will look like he’s stretching), THAT’S THE SIGNAL! Please do exactly the following:
a. Wherever you are in the square, turn and face toward the Madame Tussauds Museum.
b. Put the picture in front of your face, holding it with the left hand;
c. Stretch the right arm straight in front of you at the height of the shoulder;
d. Move slowly your arm in a quarter-of-circle movement until it’s straight pointing at your right hand side toward ther Royal Palace (the flash mob leader will do the same), taking approximately 5 seconds;
e. Do the same movement in reverse, same time;
f. The total flash mob will take approximately 10-12 seconds
g. Get back to normal, put away the picture, continue doing whatever you were doing before the flash mob (enjoy your Saturday!).
